Re: “Two-gender-only signs cause a stir,” Feb. 26.
I find it ironic that so much “hate and bullying” can be directed against an elderly couple by so-called “inclusive” individuals who are concerned about alleged “hate and bullying.”
If someone puts up a sign that states there are only two genders, I would like to start a conversation with them in an effort to find out what they have to say, not shut down the conversation before it has begun. Preventing individuals from speaking leads to totalitarianism, and I’m not sure we want to go there. It is as a result of our conversations over the past few thousand years that we have been able to discover what the essential truths are, and this has contributed to us being able to live in a free society.
