In response to the Dec. 24 article entitled “Sustainability of Sechelt campus questioned,” Capilano University remains relevant because we anticipate and respond to changing demands.
Capilano University continues to identify areas where programming could expand at the Sunshine Coast campus. The university has increased offerings in health care, language and literacy and early childhood education at its Sunshine Coast campus to respond to robust demand. In collaboration with community members and partners, Capilano University continues to develop timely new programming.
While we respect that some of our colleagues may view the situation differently, Capilano University is proud of its faculty members who work so hard to ensure that the Sunshine Coast campus remains a vibrant and growing part of the community.
