In the hustle and bustle of trying to accomplish everything on our "to-do list," I happened to take the time to try again to visit a place I have been hearing about, mainly to find a book to read a good Christian book.

Well, I am so blessed that My Father's House was indeed open, literally the door stood ajar and I walked in to inquire about my author and was greeted by a lovely lady who seemed to be expecting me. I felt as if I had come home. The quaint little cottage is filled to the brim with what I hold dear good books.

My plans that afternoon was to find a good book, instead I met a new friend. In our busy world we run in and run out of shops looking for a particular good deal or a specific item, have you ever had a store clerk or owner say sit down and rest awhile, I doubt it. That is what Els Mercer said to me, so that is what I did. Next thing I know, I am pouring my heart out to this virtual stranger and she is smiling and nodding and listening.

God puts us where he wants us and places people in our path on purpose. I will be going back to visit this place and this lady many times in the future. Ms. Mercer is in this to share the good word and to give people hope in this world we live in. It is not a store, but a lending library. I hope that more of us lost little lambs will find our way there. Blessings to this woman and her good works.
