Afghanistan has reintroduced restriction of movement by women, forbidding them to leave their home without a related man accompanying them. They do not have access to education or health care. They literally live in apartheid under their burqas.
What are Canadians troops doing in Afghanistan, besides keeping different factions of men from fighting each other?
Canada should bring its troops back immediately. And every other NATO country should do the same. They are not improving the situation for the people of Afghanistan. Let us tell the Afghans that this is unacceptable in a civilized society.
