We have waited patiently for nearly 18 years to build this cottage, which is a joy to us all, especially the cats. We have seven cats with feline immune virus presently and very soon they will be living the "life of Riley" in their new home with its "racoon" safe enclosure.
It amazed us all how quickly the good-hearted supporters of our Haven responded to the various needs and simply "created" this great little home in less than two weeks.
In 2006, I was given a stained glass window depicting "cats" and although I was often tempted to put it in one of our silent auctions, I knew somehow that it would find a home here and it certainly has.
Here on the Sunshine Coast we witness big and little miracles all the time - many of which happen because of people who always do more than their "job description" requires. Andre's Memory cottage is proof of just that.
