The SCRD under the guidance of Garry Nohr has decided that $5.5 million will be spent to alleviate the regular summer water shortage by installing water meters. As if water meters will stop people using water. Would it not be better to take that same $5.5 million and use it to increase the capacity of the reservoir that serves the Sunshine Coast? I am sure there must be a reputable hydrologist somewhere who can advise our local regime the best way to go about it.
