Editor: This letter was sent to Sechelt Mayor Darnelda Siegers. As a resident of Sechelt, I’m not seeing much from your office regarding social distancing. I feel that signs are needed reminding people of their responsibility to do so.

The caller identified herself as a concerned resident of Pender Harbour. “It’s very concerning these days,” she said. “We can notice quite a large influx of boats coming into the harbour with younger partygoers – kind of like party time.

So, about my last column urging everyone to try to get out to local government meetings during budget debates. Don’t do that anymore.
