I think it's time to set some ground rules about asking if a woman is pregnant. I have been asked the question (dreaded by all women who aren't a size six) many times in the past few months.

On Sunday we witnessed a milestone here on the Sunshine Coast. Habitat for Humanity broke ground for its first affordable housing project.

A couple of weeks ago I was hit with pain so sharp in my abdomen that I actually fell to my hands and knees in the middle of the street. I had to crawl to the curbside where I waited for the piercing pain to end.

It was news we expected, but it's still hard to take. It's going to cost you a lot more to travel back and forth to the mainland, thanks to a fuel surcharge announced this week by B.C. Ferries.

Our court system is becoming a joke. We've made the argument many times in this space, pleading for a change to the way our courts are run. Again this week we make this plea.
