Special Olympics celebrates 25th anniversary

The Sunshine Coast chapter of Special Olympics BC celebrated its 25th anniversary on May 26 with a family picnic in Dougall Park in Gibsons. It was a perfect sunny day in the park, with a spirited bocce ball game, awards for volunteers and athletes, barbecued burgers and cake, and lots of supportive smiles.
