TORONTO — Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros, Ottawa quarterback Caleb Evans and Redblacks receiver DeVonte Dedmon have been named the top performers for Week 9 of the CFL season.

Canada will be without forward Junior Hoilett and midfielder David Wotherspoon for Thursday's CONCACAF World Cup qualifying game in Mexico. The two British-based players — Hoilett is with England's Reading while Wotherspoon plays for Scotland's St.

TORONTO — The Canadian men's rugby team will play Portugal and Belgium during the November test window. The tour will take the 21st-ranked Canadians to No. 19 Portugal on Nov. 6 and No. 27 Belgium on Nov. 13.
