It's Suncoast Racquet Club's Tennismania open house this weekend -an entire weekend of free indoor tennis for the whole family.
It kicks off on Pro-D Day, today Friday, Oct. 25, starting with a boot camp and tennis lessons for elementary and secondary school youth, complete with personal trainer and tennis coach.
Lessons begin at 10:30 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. for different ages and abilities. Friday evening offers adult mixed doubles on the club's regular pizza night. Saturday offers free family play from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and then free public play for adults, including a barbecue on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
There will be great door prizes on Sunday as well, so come on out and join the fun.
It's a great way to be introduced to tennis, or to practise skills you haven't used in a while, regardless of the weather.
