This past sunny Thanksgiving weekend, our Sunshine Coast Youth Soccer Association (SCYSA) U18 Boys Rep soccer team plus some guest players from U16 boys and a U18 girl, participated in an exciting tournament in Richmond. The team won all four games playing with determination, outstanding teamwork, and great heart. In total, Storm scored 16 goals over the four games and had only one goal scored against them. Goal scorers include Samuel Uwa (5), Coen Marshall (4), Grant Pednaud (3), Brody Ewen (2), Eden Miller (1) and Asha Lui-Heneke (1). Tyson Seabrook demonstrated amazing goaltending throughout the tournament and was well-supported by the great defence and teamwork with all the passing and quick footwork by everyone.

The team was missing a few key players who couldn’t make it for the weekend, and unfortunately lost a few players due to injuries sustained in the games, but the team worked hard and brought home gold! A special thanks to the coaches, Grant Marshall, Ken Ewen, and Trevor Hatfull for all their hard work with the team, and thanks to the parents for coming out to support these fabulous athletes!
