The U11 girls Storm played hard and came away with a victory against the West Vancouver Spuraways last Sunday in rep action.
It was a beautiful day and the girls responded to the sunshine with enthusiasm and teamwork. Goals from Mary Wood, Royal Lumley and Faye Duffy combined with stellar goalkeeping from Koenn Sauer and Olivia Tulk helped to secure the win.
Both Mya Yakasovich and Piper Goerzen played a strong passing game feeding balls to wingers Teagan Sweet and Paige Clucas who carried the ball speedily through the midfield. Leela Fernandes, Pippa Boothroyd and Ella Campbell were strong on defence and were first to the ball time and time again, playing the ball back up the field.

United pushed hard in the final five minutes looking for the equalizer, but Joseph Schembri put the game out of reach.
The Falcons next home game is Saturday, Nov. 23, as they entertain Marpole at 1:30 p.m. at Kinnikinnick Park in Sechelt.
House League
Code Red and Blue Thunder locked up in house league action last Saturday.
Code Red came out very strong and never lost momentum in a 3-0 victory.
Joshua Stelter, Warner Endert and Alex Cartlidge Robbins were standouts for their team. Jaydon Polischuk was a key player on defence. Cole Charlton scored off a great penalty kick in the first half.
In second half Blue Thunder stood its ground and tried to make a comeback. Virgil Perkins and Liam Fulkerson showed great speed and countered Code Red very well.
U10 Girls
Another great match at Cliff Gilker with Team Green hosting Halfmoon Bay Orange Crushes. While Greens' forwards split the Crushes defence for two early goals in the first half with Julia Molina between the posts, the Crushes got back in the game with Issabella Biddulph minding the net holding Green at two goals and Julia Molina redeeming herself by sending one home for Orange.
