The SCYSA held its annual summer soccer camp last week at Cliff Gilker Park. The camp was run by technical director Ken Campbell and rep director Martin Blackwell. Fifty-seven kids ages 8-15 took part in a fun-filled week of soccer. Activities ranged from attacking and defending principles to World Cup small-sided game tournaments. The camp helps kids work on technical and tactical training, which leads up to the fall season that starts in just three weeks.
