From April 10 to 12 Lucy Watson and Scarlett McLash took part in the STAR 1 event at the Super Series VI Skate Competition in Parksville. These two determined and motivated young skaters chose to attend their very first competition after being off the ice for two weeks as the Sunshine Coast Skating Club finished its season in late March. Even with this slight disadvantage, the girls went on to perform their skills at the competition in fine form and achieved a silver and gold evaluation respectively.
