The Sunshine Coast Skating Club’s skater of the month for December is Keke Wang.
Keke is 10 years old and is in Grade 5 at West Sechelt Elementary School. What Keke loves about skating is how freely you can skate. Her favourite thing in skating is the jumps and spins.
When Keke is not skating she likes to read, dance, listen to music, play piano and do gymnastics.
Here is what Keke’s professional coaches, Lesleigh Farr and Daryl Austman, have to say: “Keke is hard-working and respectful. She is in her first year of Junior Academy with the club and shows great sportsmanship and dedication. Keke doesn’t shy away from a challenge and continues to push herself to improve.
