The non-profit, volunteer-run organization continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community.

Pee wee through midget teams travel to the Lower Mainland on a regular basis and visiting teams travel to the Sunshine Coast.

There are home games this weekend on Saturday, May 18 at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre with the pee wee Rapids playing Mission at 2:30 p.m.

On Sunday, May 19, bantam plays Mission at 11 a.m. and the midget team against Delta at 2 p.m.

Community support is needed for the national summer sport of Canada and the fastest game on two feet. There are also away games on the Lower Mainland every weekend for all three teams. The association also happily accepts donations large and small to support the league from jerseys, tournaments to travel costs. Check out Sunshine Coast Lacrosse on Facebook for updates and contact information.
