The Sunshine Coast Youth Soccer Association held its annual summer soccer camp recently at Cliff Gilker Park. The camp was run by technical director Ken Campbell and rep director Martin Blackwell. Fifty-seven kids aged eight to 15 took part in a fun-filled week of soccer. Activities ranged from attacking and defending principles to World Cup small-sided game tournaments. The camp helps kids work on technical and tactical training, which leads up to the fall season that starts in two weeks.
