The 3rd annual Sunshine Coast Cycling Club (SCC) Gibsons Grind road cycling event will take place next Saturday, June 28.
What started as a simple ride with friends a few years ago is turning into a Coast-wide event. Both the 50 km and 100 km rides start at Langdale ferry terminal at 10 a.m. and finish at Shirley Macey Park. A barbecue follows the cycling event, starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Eric Cardinal Hall in the park. All riders, volunteers and their families as well as anyone interested in joining the Sunshine Coast Cycling Club are invited. The ride is a self-paced event with the intent of getting people excited about cycling on the Coast. Gather your friends and family and join SCC for a great, low-cost event.
