The North Shore Cana-dians look to once again take advantage of the Inlet Raiders' hospitality on Saturday night.

The visiting Canadians have yet to lose to the Raiders in their annual match up, now in its fifth year. Last year, the North Shore division one team routed the Raiders 9-1. Previous years saw the Raiders get edged 4-3 in overtime, clobbered 10-3 and manage a 1-1 tie in the match up's 2002 debut tilt.

Game time is set for 7:15 p.m. at the S.C. Arena.

The Raiders will have their work cut out for them.

The Canadians are in second place in the closely-fought North Shore Adult Hockey Association's top open division. This year's Canadians line-up is also slated to once again feature some players from the North Shore Dawgs, one of the top teams in division two of Burnaby 8 Rinks' 17-division league. Slated to play again is the Dawgs' Pat Kosela, the division's leading scorer.

But the Raiders may be a little more prepared for the Canadians this time around.

The Raiders are 21-4-4 and clinched first place two weeks ago in the men's A-division hockey league.

The Raiders have eight scorers in the top 10 and have some young guns complementing a collection of grizzly veterans. Up and coming players like Dave McLennan and Mike Cote have a year under their belts.

"The Raiders are prepared and the Canadians better bring their lunch kits," said Raiders' spokesman Tom Poulton.
