The Lighthouse/IGA Raiders had a big week picking up a pair of wins in Sunshine Coast Men's Fastball League action.
On Monday, June 24, the Raiders beat Lon's Gun Show 4-1 behind the strong pitching of Bill Stockwell who had his shutout broken up in the last inning when
Taylor Hanchar hit a double to score Jason Chung for the Gun Show's only run of the game.
Two nights's later on June 26, the Raiders won a wild 16-12 slugfest over the RJS Blue Jays.
Therin Hemstalk picked up the win with Stockwell closing things out to earn the save. Cory Bergnach crushed a home for the Raiders while Dave Moran homered for RJS.
In other action last week, the Gibsons Pirates beat RJS 12-11.
Rob Dixon and Moran both homered for RJS in a losing cause.
The final game of the week saw Custom Carpet blast Gilligan's Pub 20-1.
