The U12 Predators found the scoring touch in a 4-2 win over Kensington last Saturday.

In the 13th minute, Andy Blattler made a lovely pass off the wing to Nathan Eldson who in turn made a nice pass to Jordan Hoy in the six-yard box. Jordan tapped it in for the opening goal.

Nathan set up a beautiful goal in the 26th minute as he dribbled through three defenders and passed off to Colton Edwardson who punched a low ball past the Kensington keeper from eight yards out.

In the 40th minute Tyler Jennens and Elliot Cayer combined on a nifty passing play to set up Nathan who buried a shot just inside the goal post.

The Predators controlled the balance of play in the first half with plenty of sustained pressure in the Kensington end of the field. Kensington had only 10 players and found it difficult keeping up with the speedy Predators.

Nathan converted his hat trick in the 52nd minute as he dribbled through four defenders and buried a shot.Kensington came back with two late goals to make the score respectable.

U13 boysThe Adrenalin went into Vancouver to play against first place Point Grey Thunder.

Five minutes into the game, keeper Parker Hohn was knocked out of the game in a collision with one of the Point Grey strikers. Adrenalin's backup keeper was already injured and not at the game, so Joey Gignac bravely volunteered to go in goal. He played very well and the team rallied around him. Adrenalin gave up an early goal but came back strong when Stashan Coady slid a shot into the goal from a slick pass from Jesse Mawby to tie the score at 1-1 at halftime. "We had only one sub so the boys were working extremely hard, showing great composure with their passing game and tackling hard against the much bigger Point Grey squad," said coach John Lussier. "We had the ball at the start of the second half and made eight to 10 consecutive passes with Zach Karmel finishing it off with a high shot over the keeper to give us a 2-1 lead."

The score remained the same until extra time when Point Grey managed to tie the game to make the final 2-2.
