The Sunshine Coast Baseball Association is looking to put together a Pee Wee ball team for the 2018 summer season. The team would be for children born in 2005 and 2006.

Schedules have not been released but will likely be about eight to 10 games (half home and half away). The summer season generally involves two games per week from late June to early July with the hope of qualifying for the Provincial Tournament on Aug. 9 to 13 in Richmond.

Summer ball players need to be available for the full schedule of games. Felise Talia will be the head coach, and will likely hold two practices per week.

Players will need to pay a registration fee, and some fundraising will be undertaken to help cover the cost of uniforms and travel.

Summer ball is a fun experience for players and parents. Email [email protected] if you are interested.

The association will require a roster of at least 13 players.
