Justin Fodchuk scored the lone goal Saturday, assisted by Grayson Bush.
In Sunday's win, Caymen Froude led the scoring with four goals, while Quinn Ewert scored three, Justin added two and Thane Huson, Luke Kenworthy and Harris Dixson added singles.
Midget
The midget Rapids returned to Port Coquitlam last Saturday for a game against the Saints, battling to a 5-5 tie.
The Rapids demonstrated accomplished passing, positioning and poise, the latter paying off as the Saints were foiled time and again by the fierce defensive actions of the Rapids. Cody Broski's success in net was evident as he thwarted repeated shots on goal.
After a scoreless draw at the end of the first period, Trevor Julius answered the Saints' second period opener with the Rapids' first goal of the game, followed by two goals in succession from Jacob Huson. Connar Peers' successful shot on net saw the Rapids up 4-2 at the end of the second.
Gabriel Chamberlain scored early in the third, but a breakdown in the defensive strength allowed the Saints to equalize with a series of quick goals.
On Sunday, Raven Wall scored one of the three goals against the visiting Langley Thunder, and Jacob added another two to his tally.
It wasn't enough to match the strength of the visiting team, however.
With the home game loss on Sunday, the midget team is holding its own with a record of 2-2-2.
This weekend action shifts to the Sunshine Coast Arena in Sechelt with the bantams hosting Mission at 12:30 p.m. Saturday followed by the peewees hosting Ridge Meadows at 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, the bantams host Delta at 11 a.m.
