The second annual Charity hockey match between Chatelech/Pender Harbour (North) and Elphinstone/SBO/SCAS (South) secondary schools was held Dec. 19 at Gibsons arena. Teams were made up of both teachers and students from across the District. The Pender Harbour choir sang O Canada, and Lori Pratt, chair of School District No. 46, dropped the puck to start the game. It was an entertaining affair with the final score tied at 3 - 3. Thanks to all the boisterous fans who came out to support the teams. All money raised will be donated to the S.C. Food Bank.
