Lorraine Wareham (right), a member of the Pender Harbour Ladies Golf Club, shot a great round to capture the title for the local Dorothy Olive Franklin Tournament for Zone 4 (which is comprised of 38 Lower Mainland clubs).

Wareham was the third best in the province with a formulated score of -7.8. Golf BC sponsors this event and presented her with an engraved clock at the Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club.

She is pictured with Heather Cranston, ladies club vice captain from Pender Harbour.

The tournament is held at the club level and proceeds are used to send promising junior golfers to national and international competitions.

Also winning for the entire golf season, the third team from the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club’s ladies league won first in match play for the zone, and the club’s second team placed second.
