The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had 11 skaters attending the Jingle Blades Competition in Mission B.C. recently, which is a regional competition that includes skaters from as far as Hope, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, all over the Vancouver Lower Mainland and the Sunshine Coast. There were 750+ skaters from all over the Coast region competing over the weekend. This was one of the first major post-pandemic competitions for this level this season.

Our 11 skaters took part in 16 events and brought home a total of nine gold ribbons/assessments and two silver ribbons/assessments, two gold medals, and three silver medals. This was a fantastic competition for our skaters and we are all so very proud of each and every one of them. Please watch for exciting news about our upcoming Ice Show this March featuring the amazing Elladj Baldé and the homegrown Beres Clements.
