Two members of the Sunshine Coast Midget A Blues hockey team participated in the 41st annual PCAHA Midget A Scholarship Tournament Jan. 29 to Feb. 3.
Hunter Mensink and Jacob Chabot played on the GVC Canucks, one of four teams made up of players from Lower Mainland Midget A teams. After three round robin games, which required our local players to have one overnight stay and two last ferries, the Canucks then won the final championship game on Saturday, Feb. 3, bringing home the gold.
