The Rain'er Shine Pirates will be the top seed heading into this weekend's Sunshine Coast Men's Fastball League playoffs at Brothers Park in Gibsons.
In the final week of regular season play, the Pirates tied Custom Carpet 7-7 on Tuesday night and beat Lon's Gun Show 19-7 on Wednesday night.
In other action, RJS beat the Brewers 16-4 on Tuesday night and the Relics 19-7 on Wednesday night.
The Brewers finished up regular season play Wednesday night with a 4-1 win over Custom.
Last week, on Aug. 1, Custom beat the Gun Show 15-7 and the Pirates beat the Relics 15-2.
Gun Show will be the second seed, followed by the Lighthouse/IGA Brewers, Custom Carpet, RJS Blue Jays and the Relics.
The playoff tournament begins tonight (Friday) at Brothers Park with #4 seed Custom taking on #5 seed RJS. The winner of that game meets the Pirates at noon on Saturday.
Saturday morning at 10 a.m. the #3 seed Brewers face the #6 seed Relics. Action continues Saturday with games at 2, 4 and 6 p.m., on Sunday at 9 and 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. and the final at 5 p.m.
