The Sunshine Coast welcomes natural horsemanship instructor Glenn Stewart for a stage one natural horsemanship clinic next month.
Stewart has more than 25 years experience in the horse industry and has taught thousands of students across North and South America. He is one of the highest-rated Parelli Professionals. He studied directly with Pat Parelli, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman and Ronnie Willis, all incredible 'Natural Horsemen.'
He also performed for years with the Parelli Demonstration Team all over North America.
In 2010, he won the Calgary Stampede Extreme Cowboy Competition and travels extensively conducting clinics, demonstrations and colt starting sessions, and offers camps and horsemanship courses at his ranch in Northern B.C.
Stewart will make his presentation March 12 and 13 at Chaster Stables in Gibsons. The stage one clinic forms a foundation between horse and rider that creates a positive balance of trust and respect, breaks down the prey/predator relationship and builds a language based on the principles of the way horses communicate with each other.
For registration or spectator information, contact the clinic host Christine Mutch at 604-886-2367. Enrolment is limited. Spectators are encouraged; however, there is a fee to audit. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Chaster Creek Stables.
