Halfmoon Bay FC (in green) took on the visiting Pender Harbour Bananas at Connor Park last Sunday, with Halfmoon Bay winning the hard-fought match 3-2.
It was the second game of the season for both teams.
Halfmoon Bay got out to a 2-0 lead but Pender battled back with a goal and then a second one on a penalty kick to tie it. With little time left in the match, Halfmoon Bay was able to put away the winning goal and hold on for the win.
