Gus Goerzen, a Grade 11 student at Elphinstone Secondary, was recognized as a first team all star for the North Shore league.
This is an honour given to the top 20 athletes in basketball throughout the entire league – including AA, AAA and AAAA teams.
Pictured front right, Goerzen played in the all star game on Wednesday, May 2, scoring 13 points.
