On July 29 the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club will be the site of the annual John Nicholls Golf Tournament.
This year’s tournament promises to be a major summer event, featuring golf, a live auction with Ed Hill and gourmet dinner. Proceeds go to CanaDares shelter and school in Tanzania, founded by Sunshine Coast resident Lynda Kearns, currently volunteering there.
A significant number of contributions include a valuable stone Zimbabwe sculpture from Granville Island’s Ukama Gallery, which frequently showcases Coast artists and whose owner volunteered in Africa for years.
