The Sunshine Coast Rod and Gun Club is hosting its first-ever Archery Open House on Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is free and open to club members and the public. It will be held at the club’s lower ranges and clubhouse at 4384 Parkway Drive (off Field Road next door to Chapman Creek Hatchery) in Wilson Creek.
Activities will include demonstrations with different types of bows, hands-on shooting with volunteers, and both an indoor range (10m shoot) and outdoor range (20m shoot).
Archery vendors will be onsite.
Participants can bring their own archery equipment or equipment will be available for use.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
