The U13 Falcons won a grudge match 3-2 against the Marpole Blue Aces at Kinnikinnick Park last Saturday in U13 boys rep soccer action.

The next home game is Dec. 7 at Kinnikinnick Park, set for a 1:30 p.m. kick-off.

U11 girls

The U11 Storm secured another win at home against ICFS Stellas from Vancouver last weekend.

The girls played a tight passing game and were first to the ball every time.

Clara Pashkewych scored the only goal of the game on a great through ball up the field from Ella Campbell. Clara danced around the opponent's defence with the ball and confidently placed it in the corner of the net.

Pippa Boothroyd's solid goaltending and the defensive line of Maya Yakasovich, Piper Goerzen and Mary Wood thwarted the Stellas' best efforts in the first half.

The second half was all Storm with Royal Lumley and Leela Fernandez working hard to cross the ball in front of the net for the rest of Storm's speedy offence.

The girls were thrilled with the results of the game and their hard work in practice is really starting to show.
