For the 15th consecutive year, the Tetrahedron Outdoor Club is presenting the Banff Mountain Film Festival (BMFF) World Tour. The annual event features award-winning films and audience favourites from films entered in the annual festival in Banff.
The festival comes to Gibsons on Friday night, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. at Elphinstone Secondary School.
BMFF is one of the most popular events on the Coast and the primary fundraising event for the Tetrahedron Outdoor Club. Money raised goes to support club activities, including maintenance, upgrading and firewood for the four public backcountry cabins in Tetrahedron Provincial Park, and snow plowing of the park access road (Grey Creek Forest Service Road). Funds have also been used for purchasing emergency rescue equipment, and supporting trail work and the Jackrabbits program development at Dakota Ridge.
Tickets are $15, available at Trail Bay Source for Sports, Off the Edge Adventure Sports, Alpha Adventures Outdoor Adventure Store, Roberts Creek General Store and Spin Cycles.
