Coast Gravity Park is hosting a Backwoods Jam on Sept. 16 at the bike park above Sechelt Inlet Road.
The all-day event includes an all-ages race from 10 a.m. to noon (race registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.).
Awards and prize presentations will run from noon to 1 p.m.
From 1 to 4 p.m. is the Backwoods Jump Jam with food and vendors, licensed beer gardens, live entertainment, 50/50 draw and prize draws.
Admission is free (sponsored by Cariboo Brewing).
To wrap up the day, there’s a Backwoods Jump Jam after party, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Stone Water Motel in Madeira Park. Stone Water is offering a limited seating prime rib dinner, from 6 p.m. First come, first served for $20 a plate.
Shuttle bus service will be available from Sechelt to the Stone Water.
The bus leaves from the bottom of Dusty Road at Sechelt Inlet Road at 5:30 p.m. (Backwoods riders take priority seating). It leaves Rx Drug Mart in Trail Bay Mall parking lot at 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. to Stone Water.
