On Tuesday night, the Inlet Raiders tied the series at 1-1 with a 3-2 win over the Midway Power/ Grasshopper Pub Hitmen.

The Hitmen won game one of the series on Saturday night with a thrilling 4-3 overtime win.

Game three was played Thursday night (past deadline), while game four is slated for tonight (April 1) at 7 p.m. If a fifth and deciding game is needed, that will be played Saturday at 8:45 p.m.

The Hitmen looked to have game two well in hand after getting a pair of first period goals from Scott MacLeod and Adam Mercer.

The Hitmen held their 2-0 lead until midway through the second period when the Raiders began their comeback.

Darren Kohuch scored to cut the lead to 2-1 after two periods.

The Raiders pulled even two minutes into the final frame as Tristan Tuplin beat Hitmen goalie Keith McKenzie. The Raiders then scored the game winner as Kelly Cousins busted the twine with 2:34 to go.

Game one of the series saw the Raiders jump out to a 3-0 lead before the Hitmen stormed back in dramatic fashion.

The Hitmen scored three goals in the final three minutes of the game, then scored the game winner with 21 seconds to play in overtime.

Dave Starnes, Daniel Scoular and Jarred Rutley scored the Raiders' goals with assists going to Rutley, Tom Poulton and Graham Benjafield.

The Hitmen rally began with 3:36 left in the game, as MacLeod, Jeff Schwingenschloegl and Colin Large scored. Large's goal came with only 10 seconds left on the clock. Gage Gregory scored the overtime winner. Dan Fitchel added a pair of helpers while MacLeod, Gregory and Schwingenschloegl added single assists.
