The Blue Ocean 9 Hole Ladies Club is happy to celebrate the 2021 winners list and photo. With over 80 members in our group this year, we are the largest league in the history of the golf course.
This year’s championship was played in one day as an 18-hole event. Our Overall Low Gross Champion was Louise Tarves and the Overall Low Net prize winner was Elma Taylor.
Flight 1 (HCP 20-31) Low Gross winner was Lindsay Winrow, Low Net was Karen Cawsey.
Flight 2 (HCP 32-42) Low Gross winner was Barb Erickson, Low Net was Sylvie Hachey.
Flight 3 (HCP 43+) Low Gross winner was Win Wright, Low Net winner was Rhonda Gossip.
The 9 hole only Flight Low Gross winner was Maureen McBeath and the Low Net winner was Jane Chambers.
KPs went to Louise Tarves (2), Judy Marusiak and Sandra Glover.
We enjoyed great weather, many laughs, much fun and frivolity throughout the year. Our year-end luncheon was held on Sept. 22 with chef Alan Barnes donating his cooking expertise to provide a wonderful dining experience with the help of Doreen and Doug Penn, Gerry and Greg Latham and Margaret McCaughey.
Our group welcomes 9 hole golfers of all playing abilities with sign-up in the spring.
