Changes made to OCPs Official Community Plans (OCPs) for West Howe Sound, Elphinstone, Roberts Creek and Halfmoon Bay have been amended with sections intended to encourage affordable housing through increased density.

Gibsons is going right to the deadline with a proposed bylaw amendment around cannabis retail, after councillors voted Oct. 2 to hold off on third reading.

Budgets have been updated, as have construction plans for two major community hall projects – Granthams Hall in West Howe Sound and Coopers Green Hall in Halfmoon Bay.
