Start off 2009 with a plunge at the 15th annual Polar Boar Plunge.
The event takes place at the Gibsons Pigs Rugby clubhouse at Armours Beach. Registration is anytime up to 11:10 a.m. in the clubhouse. Parade to the beach is 11:15, followed by a group photo and the plunge at 11:30 a.m.
There is no cost for all this fun and there will be certificates for Polar Boars, hot refreshments and homemade soup, and prizes too! Don't forget your change of clothes, and remember to have fun.
