Sechelt Rain
A downpour hits Sechelt in 2020.

The first weekend of June will see a Pride March, Egmont Day and the 17th annual Pender Harbour Blues Festival on the Sunshine Coast – but bring your umbrellas.

Environment Canada says there's a 60 per cent chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday (and a 40 per cent chance of rain Monday). The skies are set to lighten Monday evening heading into Tuesday.

Saturday, when there's a day of festivities in Egmont and a free concert at the Pender Harbour Community Hall, the forecast is calling for a high of 17 C.

Sunday, when there's a Pride March from the Davis Bay Pier to Mission Point, and as the blues fest continues in Pender Harbour, the predicted high is 15 C.
