Anthony Benedict Pearce made a first appearance in Sechelt Provincial Court on drug related charges on June 15. His next appearance on those charges is slated for July 6.
Counsel with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada, Lisa Drumbrell told Coast Reporter via email that the 62-year-old Sechelt resident is being held in custody. He is facing three charges related to possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking in fentanyl, lysergic acid diethlamide (LSD) and Methamphetamine.
The charges were filed on May 16, following an RCMP raid on a residence in the 5500 block of Inlet Avenue in Sechelt. During that raid which resulted in his arrest, cash and illegal drugs were seized.
