Come celebrate literacy on the Coast. Capilano College received nearly 60 submissions from local writers for its Scribble for Literacy contest. The event to showcase this array of talent will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 13, at the Sunshine Coast Campus, at 5627 Inlet Avenue in Sechelt. The line-up of readers and performers, selected by the Scribble for Literacy judges, will be announced then. Readers will receive prizes, and there will be door prizes and refreshments, too. Don't miss this opportunity to hear what our community has to say for itself, about us, one imagination at a time.
Admission is by donation (entrants are exempt). All proceeds will go to support literacy education at Capilano College.
