Sunshine Coast RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate 16-year-old Suzanne Wylie, who has been reported missing from Sechelt.

According to RCMP, Suzanne attended school in Sechelt during the morning of April 13, then was seen heading towards Gibsons on public transit at around 11:40 a.m. She was subsequently reported to be in North Vancouver by mid-afternoon. It is believed she may be heading towards the area of either Nelson or Fort St. John.

Suzanne is described as: shoulder length black hair, brown eyes, 5’5, 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark hoody and jeans. She was also carrying a duffel bag or backpack.

Police and Suzanne’s mother have concerns about her state of mind, and are trying to locate her to ensure she is safe.

“We are working with Suzanne’s family and other community and police resources to try to bring Suzanne home safely,” said Const. Harrison Mohr.

If you see Suzanne, please call your local police. Anyone with other information about Suzanne’s whereabouts can also contact Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
