Sunshine Coast RCMP are continuing to investigate a truck accident that occurred in Middle Point Road in Garden Bay Monday afternoon.
On Aug. 20 at 3 p.m., RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a Direct Disposal truck.
Cpl. Steve Chubey said the truck was travelling north when its load apparently shifted, causing the trailer to overturn and spill its contents, consisting of mostly recycled cardboard, into the southbound lane.
"Flaggers were called in to assist with traffic control during the clean-up of the debris from the incident," said Chubey. "Speed was not a factor. The driver was shaken up, and was checked over by paramedics, however was not injured. Sunshine Coast Traffic Services attended the scene and the investigation is on-going."
