Harbour Air will cease service to the lower Sunshine Coast this winter, with service set to resume in the spring.
In a notice published Aug. 1, Harbour Air announced the temporary discontinuation of its domestic air service to Sechelt. The notice states that the company will suspend operations under Licence No. 962464 at the Sechelt location starting November 29, 2025 –– 120 days from the date of the notice. Service is scheduled to resume May 4, 2026.
Harbour Air has not yet released further details regarding the reason for the suspension. The Coast Reporter will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
Sunshine Coast Air also provides seaplane service Sechelt.
