The Tetrahedron Outdoor Club is once again bringing the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour to the Sunshine Coast.
This annual event features award-winning films and audience favourites from approximately 300 films entered in the annual festival in Banff.
This year's tour features a collection of the most inspiring and thought-provoking active, environmental and adventure mountain films.
Travelling from remote landscapes and cultures to up close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2005/06 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.
The Gibsons event will be held at Elphinstone Secondary School on Friday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and are available at Coast Books, Talewind Books, Alpha Adventures, Roberts Creek General Store and Pier 17.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is one of the most popular events on the Coast and regularly sells out. This is the primary fundraising event for the Tetrahedron Outdoor Club.
