Gibsons-based realtor Tony Browton has dreamed up a new slogan and design for B.C. licence plates, emphasizing the province's natural resources.
"We've got wood," proclaims the new licence plate unveiled in an April 1 news report by Molly Carmody and released on Browton's Team True Blue YouTube channel.
"Like Alberta advertises they've got oil, we've got to advertise that we've got wood," said Browton in the news report.
Reactions from locals ranged from appreciation to comments that it's rather immature.
