47-year-old man dies at Ruby Lake
Sunshine Coast RCMP say a 47-year-old man died at Ruby Lake June 30 after suffering some sort of medical distress while out kayaking. The incident happened just before 7 p.m. near one of the small islands in the lake close to the Ruby Lake Resort.
